Vancouver
Grain Terminals
Pembina – Berth 5
- Located on the North Shore Burrard Inlet
- Dock Length – 201 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 12.7 m, No limit to air draft, Single stationary PECO loader, 650 tonnes per hour loading rate
- Vessels must shift in berth so that the loader can load each hold; pilot and tugs are necessarry
- The agriproducts system is purpose-built to provide fast but gentle handling and storage (approximately 30,000 tonnes) for products such as food-quality peas and lentils, malt, feed products and identity-preserved grains
Fibreco – Bunkeding Alongside Allowed – Fresh Water Available
- Located on the North Shore Burrard Inlet
- Dock Length – 210 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 13.1 m, Maximum air draft – 13.1 m, Single Travelling Shipoader, 650 tonnes per hour loading rate
- Handles wood pellets and other agricultural products such as peas and lentils
- Tidal restrictions apply for docking and undocking, function of vessel’s draft
- 58,500 tonnes storage

- Handles Barley, Barley Malt, Rye, Wheat, Canola, Flax, and Feed Products

G3 Terminal – Bunkering Allowed – Fresh Water Available - Ocean Towage Exclusive Provider
- Located on the North Shore Burrard Inlet
- Dock Length – 285 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 14.8 m, Maximum air draft – 23.5 m, Tower mounted ship loader with 3 loading arms, Up To 4000 tonnes per hour loading rate
- Handles Peas, Corn, Wheat, Canola, Soybeans, and Specialty Agri-Products

Cascadia – Bunkering Allowed – Fresh Water Available
- Located on the South Shore Burrard Inlet
- Dock Length – 240 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 14.5 m, Maximum air draft – 21 m, Shipping gallery with 7 spouts, Up To 1250 tonnes per hour loading rate
- Handles Canola, Durum, Wheat, Feed Barley, Malting Barley, and Specialty Products
- 282,500 tonnes storage
- Docking And Undocking subject to strict tidal restrictions, due to proximity of Second Narrows Bridge
Pacific Elevators – Bunkering Allowed
- Located on the South Shore Burrard Inlet
- Dock Length – 220 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 12 m, Maximum air draft – 20.8 m, Single Travelling Shiploader, Up To 2800 tonnes per hour loading rate
- Handles canola, flax, peas, wheat, and other grain products
- 135,000 tonnes storage
Alliance Grain Terminals – Bunkering Alongside – Fresh Water Available
- Located on the South Shore Burrard Inlet
- 1 Dock – 2 sides:

- Handles wheat, canola, grain and other grain products

Fraser Grain Terminal – Bunkering Allowed – Fresh Water Allowed
- Located on the Fraser River (fresh water)
- Dock Length – 258 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 11.5 m, Maximum air draft – 14.5 m, Tower mounted ship loader with 3 loading arms, Up To 2000 tonnes per hour loading rate
- Handles Peas, Corn, Wheat, Canola, Soybeans, and Specialty Agri-Products
- 72,000 tonnes storage
- Beam restriction of 53 meters
- Channel Draft Restricted to 11.5 m; sensibly bigger drafts may be allowed case-by-case
- Tidal restrictions apply to socking and undocking
Coal Terminals
Westshore (also known as Roberts Bank)
- Located in Delta, BC; part of the Vancouver Port
- Two Docks:
- Berth 1:
- Dock Length – 350 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 22.7 m, Maximum air draft – 20 m, 1 Travelling Shiploader, Up To 5000 tonnes per hour loading rate
- Berth 2:
- Dock Length – 263 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 19.4 m, Maximum air draft – 18.3 m, 2 Quadrant Loaders, Up To 4000 tonnes per hour loading rate
- Berth 1:
- No bunkering permitted whatsoever
- Fresh Water Available
Neptune 1
- Located on the North Shore in Burrard Inlet
- Three Docks (Berths 2 and 3 shown in the Concentrates And Fertilizer Terminals):
- Berth 1 – coal only:
- Dock Length – 230 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 17.8 m, Maximum air draft – 1 m, 2 Quadrant Shiploaders, Up To 4000 tonnes per hour loading rate
- Can accommodate Cape Size Vessels (up to 160.000 DWT), but requires precise planning ahead
- Berth 1 – coal only:
- Bunkering only allowed by barge
- Fresh Water Available
Concentrates and Fertilizers Terminals
Neptune 2,3 – Muriate Of Potash
- Located on the North Shore of Burrard Inlet:
- Berth 2 – potash only:
- Dock Length – 230 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 15.4 m, Maximum air draft – 19 m, 2 Quadrant Shiploaders, Up To 5000 tonnes per hour loading rate
- Berth 3 – potash only:
- Dock Length – 250 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 13.7 m, Maximum air draft – 19 m, Single Linear Loader, Up To 2500 tonnes per hour loading rate
- Berth 2 – potash only:

Pembina – Berth 1 Concentrates
- Located on the North Shore Burrard Inlet
- Dock Length – 525 m, Depth Alongside At Zero Tide – 13.7 m, No airdraft limitation, Maximum Airdraft – 17.9 m, 1 Travelling Shiploader, Up to 800 tonnes per hour loading rate
- Vessels longer than 180 m must warp
- Export copper concentrates from B.C. mines
- Import zinc and lead concentrate for domestic smeltering
- 1.5 million tons storage
Pembina – Berth 4 Sulphur
- Dock Length – 205 m, Depth Alongside At Zero Tide – 12.5 m, 2 Quadrant Loaders, Loading rates: a) Up To 2300 tonnes per hour (single source) or b) Up To 3000 tonnes per hour (double source)
- 200,000 tons storage
Break Bulk Terminals
Lynnterm
- Located on the North Shore of Burrard Inlet:
- Four Berths:
- Berth 1:
- Dock Length – 235 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 12.5 m,
- Berth 2:
- Dock Length – 240 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 14.9 m,
- Berth 3:
- Dock Length – 240 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 14.5 m,
- Berth 4:
- Exclusively used for chemical bulk liquids
- Berth 1:
- Loading and discharging by ship’s gear; mobile crane and/ or floating can be employed
- Storage space
- 63 acres of all-weather / unsheltered yard storage (steel cargoes, tires, etc)
- 3 warehouses totalling a surface of 21,000 mp (wood pulp, steel, plywood and other specialty products)
- The dock is serviced by CN Rail with interchange with all major railways
- Railcar Shunting equipment is available onsite
- Bunkering only allowed by barge
- Fresh Water Available
Fraser Surrey Docks – DP Fraser Surrey
- Located on the Fraser River (fresh water)
- Seven Berths; all providing fresh water, light and power
- Berth 2:
- Dock Length – 307 m, Depth Alongside – 11 m (variable due to seasonal freshet influx)
- Berth 6:
- Barge berth equipped with hydraulic ramp and ability to handle pass on/off cargo operations
- Berth 7,8 and 9:
- Dock Length – 705 m; Depth Alongside – 12.5 m (variable due to seasonal freshet influx)
- Mixed General / Break Bulk And Container berths
- Served by 4 gantry cranes ranging from 40 to 80 tones payload
- Berth 2:
- Multipurpose terminal handling bulk (steel), break-bulk and project cargoes and containers
- Loading and discharging by gantry crane(s) and ship’s gear; mobile crane and/ or floating can be employed
- Storage areas:
- 5 Sheds (covered/warehouses) of 35,300 mp
- 3 sheds have fully enclosed rail platform for receiving or loading weather sensitive cargo
- 154 acres (63 hectares) of yard area
- 16 hectares for approximately 19,000 TEUs
- 308 reefer plugs220/240 volts
- 5,500 rail car storage capacity
- 3,000 m of of working rail tracks on the dock

- Fraser Surrey Docks provides seamless intermodal rail service with rail connections to all major railway companies, thus having access to all North America
Squamish Terminals
- Situated at the north end of Howe Sound, only 32 nautical miles north of the Port of Vancouver
- Two Berths:
- Berth 1:
- Dock Length – 137 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 10.9 m
- Berth 2:
- Dock Length – 152 m, Depth Alongside at zero tide – 10.3 m,
- Berth 1:
- Handles breakbulk, steel, forestry and project cargoes
- Loading and discharging by ship’s gear; mobile crane and/ or floating can be employed
- No towage companies; tugs – compulsory for docking and undocking – must be brought from Vancouver
- 3 Warehouses serviced by rail
- 60 acres for cargo storage and handling
- Bunkering allowed by barge only
- No bunkering companies – bunker barges must be brought from Vancouver
- Fresh Water Available
Oil Terminals
- Pembina 2,3 (CPP)
- Located on the North Shore Burrard Inlet
- Dock Length – 285 m combined, Depth Alongside At Zero Tide – 11.3 m, 1 Dock Loading Arm, Direct Hit Loading Liquids Capability (Diesel and Renewable Diesel bulk liquids), No Air Draft Restriction
